There is also a modded Jawor Xvid 1. Xvid for me still gives an authentic look to films and never looks as waxy smoothed out as some h encoding I'd done.
H is even worse for this! Xvid handles film grain and details much better. Lots of films are ruined on blu-ray by destroying the color palette and removing too much grain.
